New controller comes as part of new Zelda bundle.
Not shoved your Wii up in the loft in preparation for the arrival of the Wii U? Well, this one’s for you. Nintendo has just rolled out a new gold version of its Wii remote as part of a bundle for its new Zelda game.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword package comes with a copy of the game, as well as the slick new remote. Slathered in gold, it comes with a Zelda royal crest and has MotionPlus tech baked in.
There’s also a free soundtrack CD, although we have to say the game itself is getting us more het up than, “…orchestral arrangements of iconic music spanning the history of the franchise.”
The game is due to cost $70 with the controller in the US.
